Protecting member privacy is of utmost importance to AmCham. Accordingly, AmCham has developed this Privacy Policy in order to safeguard a members™ personal information and to protect the confidentiality thereof.

While AmCham will do all things reasonably necessary to protect a members™ rights of privacy whilst on the AmCham website, AmCham cannot accept any liability whatsoever for unauthorised or unlawful disclosure of a member's personal and confidential information made by third parties who are not subject to AmCham's control.
3. PERSONAL INFORMATION
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, âpersonal information means a member's company name and address, website and profile and for purposes of the AmCham mailing list, specifically, the member's contact persons relevant initials/name, surname, title, email address, telephone, fax, cell, as supplied by the member.
4. CONSENT TO COLLECTION
A member consents to AmCham's collection of personal information on an ongoing basis for the continued duration of a member's relationship with AmCham, subject to the limitations set out in this Privacy Policy.
5. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
AmCham collects personal information when a member joins AmCham.
6. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The personal information collected by AmCham is used solely in connection with supplying members with information on functions and business-related information.

AmCham will not disclose personal information it collects to any third party unless required to do so by law.
8. RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
All personal information will only be retained until the member resigns from AmCham.

AmCham will use its best endeavours to keep the personal information it collects is as accurate, complete and up to date, and AmCham shall, from time to time, request a member to update its personal information on the website.

AmCham uses encryption, firewalls and other security technology and procedures to help protect the confidentiality of a members personal information and prevent unauthorized access or improper use thereof. All personal information will be stored on the AmCham database located at its offices.
