VIRTUAL EVENT INVITATION - Navigating a Potential Supreme Court Win on Tariffs: Refunds & Next Steps for the Trade Agenda
Thursday, October 16, 2025
10 AM - 10:30 AM ET
The tariffs that President Trump has imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act are having an enormous financial impact on American businesses, with approximately $100 billion collected year to date.
In the coming months, the Supreme Court will finally weigh whether these tariffs are lawful. If the Justices rule against the President, businesses will need to know two things: how to navigate the process for obtaining refunds, and what actions the President may take to continue pushing his trade agenda forward.
Join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for an exclusive virtual event featuring the Chamber leadership team that has been at the forefront of breaking down the complex policy questions surrounding tariffs and engaging in the courts. In this 30-minute session, we will cover the who, what, when, where, and how of refunds, as well as statutory alternatives under which the President may attempt to impose new tariffs. We hope you can join us for this important conversation.
