Increase in quota for US poultry imports

Part 2 of Schedule No. 4 has been amended by substituting rebate item 460.03/0207.14.9/01.07, relating to frozen bone-in cuts of the species Gallus domesticus imported from or originating in the United States of America.

The annual quota under this rebate item has been increased as follows:

• Previous quota: 71,963 tonnes

• New quota: 73,881 tonnes

The amendment introduces a marginal increase in the quota for US poultry imports under rebate item 460.03, maintaining the existing framework while slightly expanding access. Importers and industry participants should take note of the revised quota and ensure compliance with the applicable permit conditions.
